Patrick stands one foot up on a road case in a SODFEST 2025 t-shirt and cowboy hat, mic to his mouth, white fireworks bursting in the night sky behind the hay-bale stage.

What a night.

What it was like

Big sound under a bigger sky.

  • Family friendly

Kids run, parents catch up, grandparents hold the lawn chairs. Bring everyone.

  • Free, always

No tickets, no cover, no surprise fee at the gate. The sponsors take care of it.

  • Food & drink trucks

A handful of local trucks set up on site. Show up hungry.

  • Bring a blanket

Or a lawn chair, or both. The lawn is the seating chart.

Who fed the lawn

Ten trucks, all in.

See all ten
A Patrick & The LVB road case on an empty plywood stage at sunset, framed by hay-bale walls, a mic stand, and an American flag, with the sun setting over the Idaho horizon.

Before the lights came up

Hay bales, plywood, an American flag, and a sky that goes on forever.

SodFest happens on a hand-built stage in the middle of the Raft River Valley. The sun dropped behind the silos. People found their spots. The lights came up.

No rope between us and the stage

Close enough to high-five.

No security pit, no reserved rows, no clipboard at the front. Just lawn between us and the band. Blankets spread out, chairs pulled up, kids ending up wherever they ended up.

Patrick crouches at the edge of the stage smiling down as small hands reach up from the front row, the American flag on the hay bales lit blue behind him.

From the stage

Twenty-two seconds, circa 2025.

Pulled from last year's b-roll. Fireworks, hay bales, neon, and a crowd that didn't go home until the lights came up.

A few from the archive

Borrowed from the 2025 crowd's phones.

Patrick raises his guitar overhead facing away from the camera, a full American flag hanging on a wall of golden hay bales to his left and a bandmate playing guitar to his right.
Patrick crouches over his black guitar at blue hour, the sky above streaked with sunset clouds and vapor trails, red and orange light spilling from the hay-bale stage.
Low-angle silhouette of Patrick with one foot up on a road case, microphone to his mouth, a red-lit American flag and hay bales filling the right side of the frame.
Patrick & the LVB on the hay-bale stage with the frontman center, arm raised in the air, dense red and orange haze rolling between him and the guitarist and bassist on either side.
Patrick sings while seated on a Patrick & The LVB road case as a fan in the front row holds up her phone to film him, her screen showing his image.
A wide nighttime crowd of SodFest attendees facing the stage with arms raised, kids visible in the front rows and venue lights twinkling along the back horizon.

Thanks for filling the lawn.

2026 photos are on the way. We'll drop them in here as soon as they land.
